Cadence is a BiP Solutions service. We’ve been working with buyers and suppliers in the public and private sectors since 1984, giving us a deep-rooted understanding of how these communities interact with each other. Cadence uses that knowledge, plus our unique and powerful B2B and B2G contact databases and an array of performance marketing approaches, to help our clients grow their business.

You may have known us as Ingenium or Promark Media: these are the companies that have evolved into the Cadence service of today. Whatever the name, our goal of helping organisations engage successfully with prospective customers remains the same. Explore our history in the timeline below:

1984

BiP Solutions is born and launches the world’s first tender alert service – Contrax Weekly magazine.

1990

BiP Solutions continues to grow, adding procurement consultancy to its offering.

2000

BiP Solutions launches the Tracker online business intelligence service; transforming visibility of government tenders.

2010

BiP Solutions turns to Ingenium to support its marketing activity.

2012

BiP Solutions supports the London 2012 Olympics with the CompeteFor supply chain service.

2016

BiP acquires Promark Media and its portfolio of construction services.

2016

BiP acquires Ingenium.

2017

BiP brings ProMark Media and Ingenium together to create a new Media and Marketing Solutions division, and moves to a new location at Media City.

2020

Our BiP Media and Marketing Solutions division becomes Cadence Marketing.

Cadence is part of BiP Solutions’ portfolio of services for the public and private sector supply chains. Our offerings extend from eSourcing solutions for public sector and large private sector buyers through to business intelligence services for suppliers seeking access to current and potential future tender opportunities.

We include 20% of the FTSE100 within our customer base and many of the UK Government’s strategic suppliers. It’s a 360 degree approach, which includes procurement advice and consultancy and the UK’s leading B2G events: both virtual and in person.
